A Canadian scout has used his 3D-printer to 3D-print “ear guards” for his local hospitals’ health-care workers.
Quinn’s project has seen him 3D-print dozens of “ear guards” to donate to hospitals and health-care professionals.
“Quinn answered a request from the local hospitals for help with creating more “ear guards” to help take the pressure off health care workers ears from wearing masks all day,” – Mother, Heather explains.
“He got busy on his 3D printer and has been turning out dozens of ear guards to donate.”
A project for many
The original Facebook post was shared over 400,000 times. Quinn’s mum, Heather, took this positive response as an opportunity to call out for help. She called out for other 3D-printing enthusiasts to join in the project with her son.
“We need more volunteers to fire up their 3D printers and donate these ear guards to hospitals and medical professionals!”
Sharing the link for the 3D-printing file here, Heather hope to see more 3D-printers churning out “ear guards” for their local hospitals and health-care workers, too.
All we can say is, Quinn, keep being awesome!
