The star of Ryan’s ToyReview has landed his own show on Nickelodeon – and if you don’t know who this kid is, you’re a much better parent than I am.
The 7-year-old YouTube star raked in $30 million last year and is now going to star in his own show, called ‘Ryan’s Mystery Playdate’.
The show airs on Nick Jr. later this year and will see Ryan going on playdates with his friends and family, solving mysteries and, of course, playing with toys.
Ryan’s Mystery Platedate already has 20 episodes set to release this year and has been renewed for season 2.

Haven’t heard of Ryan?
Ryan shot to fame in the YouTube world through his videos where he unboxes and reviews toys. The video that turned him viral consisted of him opening up 100 toy cars from the Pixar ‘Cars’ films.
With 18.25 million subscribers, 25 billion views and over $45 millions dollars over the past 2 years, his mum has been able to quit her job as a high-school teacher to focus on Ryan’s videos.
In an interview with TubeFilter, Ryan’s mum explained how it all started:
“One day, he asked me, ‘How come I’m not on YouTube when all the other kids are?’ So we just decided — yeah, we can do that. Then, we took him to the store to get his very first toy — I think it was a Lego train set — and it all started from there.”
When asked why kids love watching his videos, Ryan told NBC News:
“I am entertaining and I am funny”
But wait, there’s more!
Ryan isn’t only showing up on screens, he also has his own line of ‘Ryan’s World’ toys. You can find his merchandise at Big W, K-Mart and Target. You’ll even see his showbag popping up at events.
For those worried about the enormous amounts of toys Ryan gets – he definitely has not become greedy. Unless he really loves a toy, he doesn’t even keep it!
In the Ryan ToysReview Youtube channel description, Ryan and his parents have stated:
“Most of the toys we used to review are being donated to local charity”.
You can watch Ryan on any of his three Youtube channels: Ryan ToysReview, Ryan’s Family Review and The Studio Space.
Way to go, Ryan!
