Disney On Ice presents Into The Magic and into the magic indeed it is – particularly for Millennial parents.
It’s no surprise that kids have unconditionally loved Disney on Ice for over 40 years. There is another demographic, however, whose excitement may have been overlooked by the general public. That is, the Millennial parents, who also grew up attending it.
Disney On Ice has now been around long enough that it now evokes a sense of nostalgia in parents attending. They likely have their own set of memories of attending Disney On Ice with their own parents and siblings back in the ’80s or ’90s.
Being one step ahead of the game at all times, I’d bet my bottom dollar that Disney is well aware that us Millennials are attending the show under the guise of being selfless parents. Sure, we want our kids to enjoy it. But, boy are we excited to go to Disney On Ice again after all these years!
Disney On Ice presents Into The Magic really pulled through in captivating the whole family. As no surprise, the show included all the favourites that play on repeat in so many households. Moana? Of course. Frozen? Duh! Coco? Absolutely! Tangled? Thank goodness, yes!
Us Millennials had our chance to swoon over our childhood masterpieces, though, too. With a whole segment dedicated to Beauty and the Beast, I definitely felt catered to. The cherry on top, though, was when Cinderella made an appearance. These oldies have stood the test of time and send us all back to our own formative years.
I’m not going to even pretend that I didn’t adore every minute of the show. I guess my own point of concern is, how long until dates are announced for the next show in 2023?!
